IME they're hardier (and of course prettier) than Amanos, but more vulnerable to predation. I would like to get some for my unheated 38 gallon, which averages 71 or 72 degrees, but I've found differing information online about what their temperature range is. Although, don't plan to breed them at that temperature. I think 60-80 is good. I keep them at 75F, my friend keeps them at room temperature. 69-70F He just found eggs on 2 of his shrimps. |
