snails on bio load | |
gaz2374 Fingerling Posts: 44 Kudos: 48 Votes: 1 Registered: 24-Mar-2005 | thinking about having just one or two snail not the massive apple snails but something bit smaller . just wanted to no how they would efect the bio load. |

Georgia Hobbyist Posts: 137 Kudos: 108 Votes: 3 Registered: 18-Feb-2005 | Depending on the snail, they often have a bioload larger than a similar sized fish. The general rule in housing them is 2 gallons of water for each 1" of shell diameter. |
