snails on sand | |

They might might not like it at first and you'll find a few slime trails on the glass where they got rid of the sand. Eventually they move around on it like normal and just slime it off on the glass or while floating when they need to. |

But eventually they get used to it. I find my babies really like to burrow into the sand and sleep. Something they never did in gravel. And it's better for them because they can't crack or chip their shells falling on sand. |
