ok, a while ago, i used filter water for my fry tank (because that where i got them from) and i have absolutly no substrait on the bottom, just this algea, and LOTS of worms, they are red, and i think the biggest is 1 inch long, i havent seen the fry eat htem, but then again, i dont watch them that often, they are zebra danio fry, and are in a 1 gallon, there are 3 of them.

pic one
pic two

and those shiny things you se beside them are just a few of my blond chesnut pond snails

If the worms you're talking about is that brown spaghetti-like mass in the center, it looks like Tubifex. But unless you've fed thos worms to your fish, it is unlikely that they would be in there. They are probably just some other harmless Nematode, as it doesn't look like they have any large mouthparts like predatory/parasitic worms usually have.

I wouldn't really worry about it. They are most likely just scavengers.

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

yea i am talking about the mass of "spagettii" no, i havent fed any live tubifex to my fish, i have fed freeze dried though, but that was months ago. i am sure they are harmless, they just look like a normal earth worm (in body shape) like the pointy head and such, they havent harmed my fry yet, but the snails dont like them lol they try to slide over them, and the snails try to defend them selfs, so they wrap their bodys around them and trip them up and make them fall off lol although some snails just mow right through them lol, just bite them in half very few do venture on the sides though, they mostly mass up on the floor
