** Breeding Survey ** | |
Puggle Enthusiast Posts: 224 Kudos: 133 Votes: 0 Registered: 19-Feb-2004 | I'm doing a maths assignment for Probabilities and Statistics, and for my project I chose to look at the different variables involved in breeding bettas I haven't had enough experience breeding to get reliable data from my spawns, so I was wondering if anyone would like to help out by filling in the following survey? I wanted to ba How many fry hatched? (roughly) How old were they when they were jarred? How many survived to jarring age? How old were they when they were sold? How many survived until they were old enough to sell? How many halfmoons, superdeltas and deltas were there? I really appreciate any help I can get with this. Thank you. |

The details for just one spawn would be good, but this will help a lot. I'm trying to find average values for survival and growth rates, but I'll need to use upper and lower limits as well (in my project I'll need to say something like "a typical spawn is between 0 and 200 but most are around 80". I want to be able to work out the chance of getting 10 fry, or 50 fry, or whatever. |

After all, a spawn of delta to delta is going to give you very different results to OHM to OHM. Would love to help, but have only done CT, VTxDT and wilds Though, the CTs all threw DRCT, even when the parents were quite varied. I did a DDRCT with a CT and got DR and the 2nd time around i did a CT with a DRCT and got DRCT. And the wilds all threw females |
