I think that 10 gallons would be tight and these fish will fight if they feel they dont have enough room to themselves. With this in mind, I dont think 10 gallons is enough space for 2 adult dwarfs to live peacefully, if you have your heart set on this fish might try a slightly bigger tank or you could go with one in a ten, but like I said they are happier in pairs... and more fun to watch!! I raised to blue drawfs for my dad and they do like their space!!! good luck and let me know what you decide |

In that tank, you can keep a school of small bodied Tetra's. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

You can also check [link=this link]http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/forums/General%20Freshwater/55574.html" style="COLOR: #CC3366[/link] for other small tank ideas. They were both males and lived peacefully for about a week. Then one would chase the other and torture him. He eventually ripped the others tail to shreds and it died. I had no where else to put it besides an uncycled 5g and by the time I moved him it was too late. So I would not suggest 2 in that small of a tank. Also when my incident happened people responded that they have had 2 males in a 55g and one tortured the other. I would just have 1 or go with a different, more peaceful kind. |
