10 gl. with betta and white clouds?? | |

You see, white clouds prefer lower temperatures, 65-73 degrees or so. Bettas like it hot, in the upper 70's to the mid or low 80's. In a ten gallon, you'd have room for a nice school of tetras. Rummynose tetras, cardinals, lemons, etc. are all very nice choices. |

T/A Mega Fish Posts: 942 Kudos: 1796 Registered: 20-Feb-2004 | Go to your fish store and ask what temperature they keep the White Clouds at. Most stores keep them at the same high temps as any other tropical fish. If your store is like most, then yes, go for it. 1 Betta and 7 White Clouds would make an awesome 10 gallon, IMO. |

Otherwise tetras are a good choice, as well as harlequin rasboras if you're looking for a good schooler. You could look for fish that compliment your bettas color or go completely opposite and find something that contrasts. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

monicalewis Small Fry Posts: 7 Kudos: 6 Votes: 0 Registered: 29-Sep-2004 | White clouds are stream fish, but I can almost guarantee you that they are kept at warmer temps by fish stores and owners who have them in community tanks. They should do fine. I have my betta in a 5-gallon with four cherry barbs and they are doing great. The betta is purple and red, and the barbs are orange. Crazy combo but I like it. Have fun |
