	Anyone use the gel substrate?

What I like most about it is how much the bettas love it. Just got some clear for now..figured best to see the bettas with. I'll have to take a picture after eat. The one at LFS is funny, because it's blue..so you can't see the female betta hiding in it hardly.

girlunderrainbow Big Fish Posts: 323 Kudos: 230 Votes: 0 Registered: 22-Aug-2003	It is similar to plant stuff.. as it says it can also be used for plants (non aquarium plants). To clean it, it says to rinse.. LFS uses a brine shrimp net for his..to rinse if out...and puts it back. He said it seemed to lose some volume though..after each cleaning.

I was actually not LOOKING for more bettas (been here before)..and as I was checking out, my LFS friend said OH you should see this blue/gold boys we got in.. So I looked..and called him * my friend * a name..and bought Smurf.. then went back the next day for Duff.
