Beat Up Female :( | |
Hooktor Fish Addict Posts: 646 Kudos: 651 Votes: 67 Registered: 22-Mar-2004 | I just tried to breed my bettas. Everything seemed normal, she had swelled, the nest was all built, but when i released her the male was much meaner than he was other times. He ripped her apart and sooner or later she had no tail and hit in the corner and rolled over, although last time she was hurt, she was not mutilated. I took her out and now she is in my community tank where she seems very happy, but i also have a ten gallon with one baby molly who could not fit in her mouth. Should i move my betta in the ten gallon so she doesn't have to deal with so many fish? |

Not only do you have to heal her up but guard from future infections. Also in a community tank other fish will sense an injured fish and may pick on her. ___________________________________________ If at first you DO succeed, try not to look astonished. |

No one picks on her, if anything she rules! She nips at the male paradise fish and rainbowfish! So i was basically asking if she would be alright with the molly fry. Thanks so much Light_Bright for your help and concern for my baby! |
