Hi folks.
I picked up a pair of these gorgeous wild bettas today...is there anyone else keeping them on here?
Will try t get some photos soon, they're in blackwater at the mo with a fair few plants and a lower pH and hardness than average..
Anyone?
James

Cant really comment on the care, Ive never owned any of those but..

Where did you get those? And how much were they? They dont have anything like that near me, id love a pair.

Ive been looking for stuff like foerschi and brownorum, but those would do for me, theyre a gorgeous species.

Very nice!

Have you looked on the IBC SMP pages? I know Martyn was breeding them, as was Fae and Fishchick. All had success.

I'd look into getting ketapang instead of blackwater, they seem to respond more favourably to it.

Female died this morning after the battering the male gave her.
Fingers crossed for wrigglers, and then fingers crossed for pay day..
