Hi everyone,
Not to long ago my female betta died. It was pretty said, because I didn't have it very long. I don't think I'm going to get another one, but I might.

Nope. I'm just telling everyone it died. Is there a problem with that?

Very sorry about your Betta dying but, I think what ferret is saying is that usually when somebody posts about a dead fish they are trying to find out what happened. Not just announcing it for some reason.

Nick's right...I just wasn't sure if you were looking for compassion or something. It was an awkward post, no harsh feelings.

RIP betta

Sorry for your loss, mikdavy. I am very attached to my bettas and, having lost them in the many years that I have been keeping them I am always very saddened to see them go.

You did mention that you didn't have her for very long, I would suggest that you might want to do a bit of research to see if her death may have been preventable in any way before you get another. Sometimes there's nothing we can do and fish are lost randomly but it is always a good idea to make sure there is nothing we can learn from our experiences.

RIP betta.
