Betta on Vacation | |
lokifish Hobbyist Posts: 143 Votes: 0 Registered: 13-Sep-2003 | Hello all... Usually when I go out of town for a week I take my betta to a friends for his own little vacation. This time though he has to stay here by himself. With my 20gal community tank I just change the water, feed them good, and leave the light off. They always do great... as a matter a fact the water is always clearer. Would this be an ok strategy for my betta? |

I think that a week would be Ok for him. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

The stress of taking him or risking having a friend improperly feed him is likely worse. Just feed before leaving, and make sure a water change is done right away when you come back. ^_^[font color="#999999] Let's unwrite these pages and replace them with our own words We live on front porches and swing life away We get by just fine here on min" ] Let's unwrite these pages and replace them with our own words We live on front porches and swing life away We get by just fine here on minimum wage If love is a labor I'll slave 'til the end I won't cross these streets until you hold my hand" |
