Betta's Fins Are Tattered And Torn... | |
Brian1216 Hobbyist Posts: 97 Votes: 0 Registered: 28-Apr-2005 | My beautiful Betta that i bought the other day now has stringy, tattered fins. I only have small Tetras in the tank like Neons and Pristellas so i know he's not getting nipped. I'm assuming this may be from my plastic plants that i have in the tank. I guess i am stuck with a mangled Betta now. Any suggestions? |

Most Tetra's are fin nippers & you might have them nipping your Betta. Plastic plants may also cut the Betta's fins & so i would remove them. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

His fins will grow back, but they'll need time. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |
