Bettas-->Breeding Advice | |
nickman713 Enthusiast Posts: 187 Registered: 31-Dec-2003 | I have 2 females and 1 male betta. 1 females is in with the male, in a 10 gallon. He has built a bubble nest, but shows no interest in the female. He chases her off when he sees here. The female seems to hide and stay out of the way of the male. I have some fake plants where she can hide. The female went in with the male two days ago. Should I try the other female, put both females with the male, or just wait and see what happens? Thanks for any advice -Nick Last edited by nickman713 at 28-Jun-2005 14:54 |

If nothing happens that time then try the other female. Don't put both in at the same time tho. good luck! ashley |

Than place the male & a day after the female. See how it will go. If nothing happens, change the female & give him another try. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |
