Blue-Backed Sunset Gouramis??? | |
Brian1216 Hobbyist Posts: 97 Votes: 0 Registered: 28-Apr-2005 | I was at my LFS the other day and they had these. They were quite a stunning bright orange color with a bit of blue on the back. Has anyone ever heard of them? I'm assuming that they are artificially dyed. |

Are Sunset Dwarf Gouramis artificially colored? I'm thinking that's what they actually are. Don't know why they're listed as Blue-Backed Sunset Gouramis. I just don't want to buy any artificially colored fish. Does anyone have a pic of a Sunset Dwarf so i may be able to compare them? That would be a big help. |

The stores come up with all sorts of names to cover each variation of this fish, and there are tons of them. I can assure you that they are most probably not dyed fish, either, the colors are naturally bright. Okay, they're technically man-made since breeders create most the different color types. You get the idea. I don't have any photos to share, but you can search "sunset dwarf gourami" on Google Images and come up with pics. Hope that sets you up with what you need. |
