I have a tank with a male and female (I think) Blue Gourami, but they are sharing it with 1 full-grown female guppy, and 1 month old male guppy. I've noticed the b. gourami male chasing them around, the female does it too, but not as much. I've just put them in. Will they settle? It's only 10 gallons, and I really think that's small. Considering along w/ the guppies, there's 2 ottos, (New too) and a ADF. If I got a small heater, should I remove the guppies or ADF? (Tank would be too small for both, a 1 or 3 gal) Also, I've noticed the gouramis eat the food before the guppies could get to it. but, then again, they came from a 10 gal wal-mart tank with 10 others, plus 2 pelcos, so they were most likely very hungry. so I was thinking of putting the guppies in the breeding net to feed. Or, if I can't feed the ADF because of them, maybe I'll feed THEM in the Breeding net.

If pets are so stupid, how did they weasel free room and board out of us?

if i was u, i would get a 20 gallon for the blues as a ten gallon isn't really enough, and stock the ten according to the other fish.

blue gouramis are larger gouramies, and like most gouramies when in breeding modes, they will be aggressive to tankmates.

oopps.. O.k, now there's only 1 guppy... I was going up to put the little male in the net... and I can't find him, so I put the gouramis in and fed the one female. She's too big for them to eat, sense they are only about 2 in. now. so how big do they get? I've read from 4" to 7". I think I shouldn't get another guppy, Just let this one (That's pregnant) Live out her days.
