	Blue Gourami Bubblenest

If they're anything like bettas, that is. Hopefully someone will correct me if i'm wrong.

When they reach four inches then you can let them breed. My blue gourami never built a bubble nest he would just gather the eggs into a floating fake plant. Blue gouramis can build huge nests, but generally only do so if the water has a lot of bacteria in it.

karfixer Big Fish Posts: 435 Votes: 1 Registered: 10-Mar-2002	They can build large nests, depending on how little water current there is, and the amount of floating plant(s) he has to build the nest in. They usually get quite defensive about the nest after spawning. The fry are tiny and near microscopic until a few days after hatching, look closely. The Gouramis will build nests even without a fewmale to spawn with, it's just something they do if they are happy.
