Breeding betta's | |
xlinkinparkx Fish Addict Posts: 521 Kudos: 353 Votes: 2 Registered: 23-Apr-2005 | How hard is it to breed bettas provided the right materials? My LFS owner tells me its very hard. What would i need. Right now i have 1 male betta in a 3gallon and i have a empty 5gallon can i do it also How long do the egs take to hatch? fishyhelper288 Fish Guru Posts: 2161 Kudos: 1951 Votes: 137 Registered: 29-Feb-2004 | ah, depends on the perents (weither or not they eat the eggs) i have 4 from 1 spawn, and 2 eggs from a spawn a few days ago (not sure if they r alive or not)and im getting set for my next spawn the most i had was from my very first spawn, i had, maybe 200 fry or so, but slowly they strted to die off, i lost the lats 2 within days of eachother, still not sure what went wrong, but im trying again atleast |
