Hi everyone!

I posted a while back about trying to get hold of a crowntail betta in the UK. Let me tell you, it's near impossible unless you want to pay $75 getting one shipped from Thailand! Anyway, I managed to find a new-to-it-all breeder. Had to wait three months for them to reach a suitable age/size, and unfortunately the breeder lost them all to disease about two weeks before I was meant to pick one up. Nightmare.

So, after waiting for so long, I decided to go to the nearby LFS and lo and behold, they had one crowntail male there! Their first ever shipping of them, and he was the last one left. OK, so he's a bit of a mutt, with bad fins, but he's MY mutt! Apologies for the bad pic though, it doesn't show his true colour really. He has a sort of blue wash which doesn't show up here, but I'll try and take better pictures a bit later.

Oh, and the breeder emailed me the other day to let me know there was a new group of babies growing up, so in a few months I'll hopefully have a pinky cambodian male too. Anyway, enough talking!
