Bubble nest | |
HorseGal Hobbyist Posts: 134 Registered: 28-Jun-2007 | i have to go somewhere today for an overnight thing so i cant put my pair together(Bettas), and the male stopped working on his bubble nest. the nest is now falling apart and he wont fix it, and i cant risk putting them together today because i have to go and might not be back till lunchtime tomarrow. What should i do? Please help! What came first? the chicken or the egg? No really..... |

He will build another bubblenest and if he has trouble finding the motivation I'm sure some people on here can help. It's not like you only have 1 shot at this. Wait until your sure both fish are ready, he has a good bubblenest, and you have time to watch them. Even if that ends up taking a couple more weeks. That way you'll avoid getting your female really beat up or other potential disasters. Breeding fish and raising fry is a several month process not a 1 day event. |

Whenever I change his tank around or add a new ornament or toy then he builds a new nest and he makes HUGE nests at that. Some people say that when they remove all the old nest, do a partial water change then the male will make a new nest as well. |
