I know the difference between a male CT and VT is exteremly apparent, it is the same in females?

I haven't been able to find much on the subject, or many pictures to show any detailed difference.

I'm getting ready to breed some of my males, and I'm curious about my female that I have on hand, a picture can be found here:

The rest of my bettas: ^_^

CT females will have extended rays, just like the males.

I agree with fishyhelper288 I think that the first betta is a CT.

i don't think that the first one is a ct. the rays on my ctf are much longer. i think it is just a reg female. most females have little rays like that.

I have lids that are on all the time except picture time because they aren't pretty -.-

So there are a couple that say she is a CT and a few that say she isn't...

I think she is a ct. Her tail looks like she has double rays. If you look closely, there are little bundles of 2 rays evenly spaced. That is what triggers me. If she is young, which I expect she is, then it may be that her rays just arent done growing out.

Hm.. I got her about 7 months ago from a petstore that only stocks them when they're about 4 months old (I asked -.-)

So I do believe she is done growing, maybe; I do know she is ready to breed though ^_^ *is happy about that*
