A honey gourami to my ten gallon tank? Be completely honest, and don't compromise if you don't think it would work, k? Current stocking is:
~1 male betta
~2 cherry barbs
~4 khuli loaches

Honey gouramis only need like 5 gallons, right? Correct me if I am wrong, and I know bettas and gouramis can be a bit iffy, but mine seems to be particularily peaceful. Still I don't want to risk it unless you guys think it would be a good idea. Otherwise I am pretty stocked, and other than that, not really planning on doing any stocking changes.

Bettas and gouramis will most likely fight a lot and disrupt your tank. Some bettas are aggresive and some arent the same goes with gouramis. IMO I would steer clear of that combination.

i would probably stay away from it, as it is alittle more risky and better safe than sorry.

I agree, as labyrinth fish can fight. I also think your stock is at the limit now, so adding anything else would probably muck up the tank, and require loads of maintenance on your part. Sorry

I don't think you should add a honey gourmi either. You may be able to add another barb or two though...
