Is it posible to have a HM CT Betta?

I was looking at one of my newer aquirements, when I got him his tail was shredded almost beyond repair

after a few months, its grown out a bit, its a short tail not as long as my others, but the span is 180 degrees with crowntail attributes

Tried to get a good picture, but this is the best I could do: http://www.imperialpraxium.org/~kitty/Bettas/scholar2.jpg

Yes, it is possible to have HM CT betta. Here's one:

However, I don't think yours is a halfmoon, at least from the pictures. Could you get a picture of him flaring?[/font]

They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

Unless the edge rays of the tail are straight and dont end prematurely, its probably technically a SD CT, even with a span of 180* (its a nitpicky point, but i figured i should make it)

I bought a DRCT with HM lineage, and you can tell the difference next to a CT with VT lineage, its held slightly differently. (i would have missed it if they werent right next to each other.)

Lovely colour too Sandy!

Thanks ^_^

I'll try to get him in a full flare later today or tomorrow; he's got a span of 180, but I don't know about them ending prematurely, I'll have to look

I did, however, get him at a LFS, so to me its an awesome find ^_^
