Petco has started selling crowntails for $6.99, and they arent bad looking either

7 is the average price for uncommon bettas at any lfs. generally 7 is a bit much for the quality at a given store, but still good.

at chain stores yes, plakats as well. if they know what they have it will be priced acord.

Thanks now I feel better about the little boy I bought today at the fish auction He's beautiful crown tail, red and green, but has a lot of lavendar in him as well I'll have to post some pics of him when I take them only $5 too/:'

I bought my crowntails for $3.99, I live in Daytona Beach, FL. Didn't buy them at Petco though. Bought them at a LFS. They look pretty good too.

cool, that is funny b/c i was in daytona a few months ago, and while i was at the racing mesueam i went down the road to that petco(i think or smart) anyway, i went to my petco on thurs. and i saw that they changed their entire fish area, and i saw some nice looking CT, but not 7 usd worth. but they use to get in sometimes ok looking CT, and i would seek them out for reg price.
