Death of Crowntail | |
Cichlid Keeper Big Fish Posts: 368 Kudos: 466 Votes: 304 Registered: 17-Aug-2003 | I came home from work this evening to find my black crowntail betta lying in the bottom of the tank dead. He has been in a 10 gallon tank for a little over a month and was showing no signs of any prolems. In fact this morning when I fed him he was swimmming around active and had a very good appetite. Tank parameters Ph:7.5,ammonia,nitrites:0,water temp. 76. There is also no chance that any foreign substance could have gotten in the tank. I'm just not sure what could have happened to him. Any ideas or suggestions on what may have been the cause would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Last edited by Cichlid Keeper at 23-Apr-2005 21:04 |
