I NEED HELP DESPERATELY! Well, before I begin, I would like to thank you for coming to read this post. Now, when I bred my Bettas, the female got horizontal stress stripes for a few seconds every embrace, and now our babies have horizontal stripes! They never go away! They are five weeks old. S, are these stripes due to genetics? Have we made a new strain? Or should they have this? Please write back! I'm counting on you guys

Horizontal stripes are stress stripes, and every betta can have them. So its not a new strain or anytihng. And its normal for fry to have them so don't worry!!

Ontariobetta already answered your question. It's pretty simple.
Breeding is stressful for females, hence the stripes. I wouldn't take it personally that no one else posted. It would have been redundant, I suppose.
