Dropsy Bettas and Gouramis | |
Falstaf Fish Addict Posts: 785 Kudos: 1211 Votes: 196 Registered: 12-Feb-2004 | Hi, Today i lost one of my oldest and more loved Betas to dropsy, it's so sad. In the past i've lost one more betta and several gouramis to it, so i'm wondering if these to are e to get it, because no other fish has died from it. |

I had a few cories and otos get it but even then the gourami in the tank was just fine. From my experiences I'd think the opposite about gouramis. I've never really had a sick gourami. |

It seems to me that they tend to get dropsy when they're older, because that's how many of my old bettas seem to go. Not quite sure why that is. ~Meow. Thus spoke the cat.~ |
