Really the only way to care for the fry is to take out all the fish in the tank but the male, then after 4 days take him out aswell. But as you said you have no where to put the fish, I would just let them do their thing and the fry will be eaten after 3-4 days. |

You may not be able to see them in the nest until they develop a bit. Eggs usually hatch in about 7 days time. If you move the nest, the male will probably give it up and eat the eggs if there are any. Your only chance would be to remove all other fish from the tank. Its likely any eggs have already been eaten, depending on what you have in the tank, but if you have loaches or catfish - the eggs are probably a tasty treat by now or will be soon. Do u think this will work or is a stupid idea |

Remember the male maintains the nest and catchs any falling fry; so if you take the fry out in the nest they will all just sink to the bottom. Also a bowl might be a little to small for 50 or so fry. I would go with a ten gallon. |
