Eclipse 6 Company | |
Hooktor Fish Addict Posts: 646 Kudos: 651 Votes: 67 Registered: 22-Mar-2004 | My retired male betta is residing in a 6 gallon tank. When he was in my 10 gallon he had the company of a few zebra danios when the tank was cycling. He seemed to love the company, and whenever he is the tank with other fish he always seems happier. So what other fish could i add to keep him company? |

I wouldn't go with any schooling fish, because a tank that small isn't going to provide the room for a sizeable group. |

I wanted something with more color. Maybe cherry barbs...any other ideas? Would dwarf platies work? Or guppies? |

Another option would be male Endler's. I don't think you'd have the problems guppies would pose since they don't have the long flowing fins. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |
