I was led to believe they are the ultimate betta dessert- is my Betta on a diet, or am I just feeding them to him wrong? I put the little wormy things whole on the water. Also, is there anything wrong/dangerous with feeding him bugs from outside? Ants, that sort of thing? Anything in particular which is good or bad? |

Be sure that he will eat it without hesitation. Are you sure that the outside bugs are clean & without pesticide?. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

I like a pellet food, hikari makes a good one...Bio Gold. Try your betta on other foods...pellets, flakes etc. But only introduce one food at a time. Remeber he can go 4 or 5 days without eating.
