Ok, I wanted to know what you all feed your Dwarf Gourami's.
I've heard they eat bugs and veggie matter in nature. But do they eat things like FISH?

It's really important to me to have the best diet possible for all my fish.

Also, how do you ounce Gourami...

They will eat flake foods, frozen and freeze dried foods, live foods, pellets, etc. They really aren't fussy eaters, and will readily take just about anything you can give them. I don't know if they eat fish, however. Maybe someone else does...

My gouramis get:
Sinking wafers, pellets, flakes, freeze dried daphina, frozen blood worms, frozen mysis shrimp and the occasional guppy fry.

There is no need to feed them fish (no need to fed any fish fish feeder fish). Gouramis are not picky at all, and will accept just about anything you give them.

You can add a few plants so they can nibble on them for added variety. I have a BN and about twice a week I add a slice of zuchinni at night for him. I have seen my dwarf gourami also picking at it.

Same here, for my dwarfs and my croaking/sparkling gouramis.

I feed my Cobalt Gouramis flakes daily (Tetra Pro's Tropical Crisps, e.g.), and freeze-dried blood worms three times per week.

They also occasionally "help" my Corydoras clean up the sinking wafers!

All best,
Joe
