While I was at the petstore the other day, I saw the nicest looking albino paradise fish I've ever seen, and I've decided that I need one. I've heard of them being semi-aggressive, and I've witnessed them chasing eachother around, so I'm not just going to go with a community-like setting.

It will be going into a 10 Gallon tank, and I'm going to use the same tank to go for my first real attempt into plants, besides the low light/maintence ones I use in my 30 gallon.

My ideas so far are maybe some male platies or florida flagfish? Something small, but something that won't get pushed around too much by a paradise fish.

Flagfish look like mean little things to me. I've read they shouldn't be kept with fish that resemble their body type - which would probably include bettas, paradise fish mollies, platies etc.

Never had one though, so you may have a different experience.

try any of the rasboras, harlequins, danios, event tetras would work, corys work just fine as well.

try to stay away from those smaller fish, that like to school, as with most gouramies, paradice fish take up alot of room for a 10 gallon.

Personally, I'd go with a trio of white clouds and temperatures in the low to mid 70s.

I think I'll just go with a group of the smaller cories. Thanks for the suggestions everyone!
