Gorgeous female or short tailed male? | |
Hooktor Fish Addict Posts: 646 Kudos: 651 Votes: 67 Registered: 22-Mar-2004 | I bought a female with gorgeous coloring the other day at the LFS. The person there told me she is a female but her coloring is so beatiful i am not 100% sure. But she definitley has the ovipositor, the little white dot behind her anal fins. I read that it is a sure sign of a female. Also she is really plump so it seems like she is filled with eggs. But on the other hand there are a few bubbles on the top of her water so i don't know what those could be from. Thanx for all your help in advance! |

About the only other thing you can use is the length of the ventrals. See what you can do about some piccies Callatya attached this image: |
