In a department store? Very nice find. You might want to watch out for fin rot and bacteria diseases, since those are most common.

Crowntails really make a presentation don't they? I currently have 3 males and several females.... and am bidding on another male and 2 females.... Wasn't as lucky as you though - I've never seen one anywhere around here - except online! GOOD FIND!

Very Nice We get them in all the time at work, they are very pretty. It's so tempting to take 'em all home.

Remember to keep up with regular water changes (and don't forget to add dechlor )

Never thought of feeding a betta brineshrimp, I always stuck with Hikari Betta Bio Gold and bloodworms. Let us know how that goes.

Good Luck with him, can't wait for pics.

I got 3 females too, I got them at the same walmart as mikdavy2.

I feed them Hikari pellets, bloodworms, and frozen brine shrimp (SFBB).

They're great fish, good luck
