In a 3ft I wouldn't. Blue gouramis, commonly called 3 spots since they come in a rainbow of colors, are rather large and sometimes agressive fish. I would suggest a minimum 29g for keeping 1-2 of them without any other similar gourami species. They probably won't have a problem with the lace(aka pearl) gourami since those are quite peaceful and not usually viewed as a challenge but this fish also reaches a good size(4-5" ). Unless your keeping only a breeding pair they would also do best with a 29g minimum. Unless you have an oddsized 3' tank that's larger than usual I'd say it's stocked. You especially don't want to risk putting more gourami species in there because fights are likely to break out if you don't give them enough space. In a slightly larger tank like a 40-55g or more you could probably get away with some of the very small gourami species like a group of sparkling gouramis or a pair-trio of honey but I wouldn't push it in a smaller tank.

Cool,thanx for that.The tank is 3ft long and 2ft wide,so i guess that counts out anymore gouramies.I saw a golden and a moonlight that I really liked the look of,but i guess I'll have to get a bigger tank for them all.Again,thanx heaps,and have a gr8 day:0)

That's an odd sized tank. It would have to be custom built. The smallest 2' wide tank I've ever seen in stores was 120g and 4' long. Are you sure it isn't 36"x18" which would be the base size of a 40g breeder or there are a couple 37"x19" tanks that are around 50-65g. Any of those would actually be big enough that some small gourami species might work. I would not add any more of the large gouramis not just because of space but because they are more likely to fight or set off your 3 spots. Small gouramis like honey, sparkling, croaking, etc.. could work since they are more peaceful and not seen as a threat by other large species. Possibly another pearl depending how big your tank actually is but moonlights can reach 6". A golden would be another color variety of the 3 spot and I wouldn't add any more of those. They can get agressive with each other and other gouramis similar in size to them. They generally don't see small gouramis as a threat and even my really agressive blue male that kills all other 3 spots will tolerate sparkling gouramis. Mixing and matching too many gourami species especially when you include some of the more agressive ones can result in lots of headaches. Your better off sticking with just 2-3 carefully matched species no matter the size of your tank.
