houston Fish Guru You want what when? Posts: 2623 Kudos: 2462 Votes: 337 Registered: 29-Mar-2003 | Oh I'm so happy for you Does this female and male live together? I know it is a very rare instance that they can tolerate each other longer than to spawn So exactly how do you plan on raising these fry? What are you going to put them in when they are too big for the tank? Is it even possible to raise half of them? I'm so excited for you, and it will be neat to know what the colors of the fry turn out to be, especially if they are just the "run of the mill" bettas I tend to fall foryou know the ones at Wal-Mart, PetSmart, etc Anyways good luck and have fun with the water changesheidi "I've got a great ambition to die of exhaustion rather than boredom." fishyhelper288 Fish Guru Posts: 2161 Kudos: 1951 Votes: 137 Registered: 29-Feb-2004 | well, he has moved the eggs (first male to attempt that) he left a few behind, but i think once they hatch he will take them to the others, he is also diffrent than anyother male, he built his nest in the middle of a bunch of plastic plants, insted of in the open away from the plants, im gunna try and get the stuff from the bottom (poo, plant matter) he is doing a great job, and not one egg has touched the bottom hopefully he will have the same luck with the fry im getting the 10 gallon set up today with loads of real floating plants, a good gravel vac..ect..(the 10 gallon only has a tiny bit of gravel, maybe a handfull....) |
