BUT those "betta kits" are just Small Pals containers that can be found in a larger size. I am sure you can get them in a 1 gallon size and if I remember correctly there are also 2 gallon ones available. If you can find the larger containers, I highly recommend getting those instead. Another option is the MARINA "Goldfish" Starter Kit....I would never put a goldie in one of these but they make fantastic betta tanks, especially if you get a small heater. The price is pretty good too. Goldie Kit CLICKY Forgot to add, just in case you don't know: DO NOT feed the goldfish flakes to your bettas as a staple food. It doesn't have the right nutrition for them and will eventually lead to health problems. I HIGHLY reccomend Hikari Betta Bio Gold. Oh and fishyhelper: Everything fish-related in Canada sells for exorbitant prices. $30 for a 1 gallon tank with everything included is a good deal unfortunately. It's kind of triangular and has a built in light as well as coming with a UGF. *shrugs* They come in two gallons (which I believe are hexes) as well. I forget the brand, though. ~Meow. Thus spoke the cat.~ |

Toirtis Mega Fish Posts: 1260 Kudos: 529 Votes: 6 Registered: 24-Feb-2003 | Those one gallon sorts are about $15 here (or about $5 used)....but for the extra cash on the one I showed, you get a HOB powerfilter and a CF light....well worth the extra $15-$20 in my opinion. |
