Hi
I Have had Dwarf Gourami's in the past (none at Present)and have now decided to get some Honey Gourami's is it the same as with Dwarf's that it is best to get 2 females and 1 male and if so how do you tell the difference between the male and female they all look the same at my LFS

Honeys are pretty much the same as dwarfs, except they are a titch smaller. 2 females and 1 male would be fine, although 1 male and 1 female or 1 male, or female woulbe be ok. They should be kept in the same conditions as dwarfs, and mainly have the same care.

They're the same as the Dwarf Gourami. Get 1 Male & 2 Females. The Males are much more colourful.

The males may be more colorful, but it's sometimes hard to tell the genders apart by color anyways. A good way to sex them is to look at the dorsal fin. On the very back end of the dorsal, males have a pointed tip, whereas female dorsals are more rounded. This difference is easy to see if you have males and females in the same tank that you can compare.
