ID Gourami for me please | |

Again, it is difficult to tell from the photo, but the fin does not look pointed to me. I have seen quite a few female blue gouramis with somewhat long fins, but they are still all rounded off at the tip. |

There are many color variations of this fish, and it looks like you have a blue one tinged with a bit of gold. For sex, that's a little tougher to tell. I wish there was a good close-up picture of the dorsal fin, since that's the most telling difference between genders here. I'm going to say female, but again, it's a little hard to see. It's a gold/blue/opaline/3 spot/2 spot... they're all one in the same, just color morphs. Try getting a closet, cleaner shot of the dorsal fin and we'll see what we can do |
