I think he's trying to kill the snail | |

Well, it turned out better than I thought, because he's cleaned half my tank. It was covered in what I thought was cyano bacteria, but it must actually be brown algea. Anyway, this is the first time putting the new betta in with a snail. He gets along fine with the albino cory. But for some reason he really really really likes to pick on the snail. He'll knock it off the decorations, and stand guard for hours, pecking at it if it comes out of it's shell. It's a small snail, and is really only about the mass as the betta. Should I be worried about Little Buddy killing the poor snail? Or could it be something as simple as the snail being new and in time his aggression will pass? |
