Good morning all.

My LFS has a mixed tank of those two, and I'd really like to get a pair of just one species. The problem is that they're all so washed out from being in the LFS that I can't tell the difference, and the only guy who knows anything there is back at college.

So, is there a halfway-reliable way to tell the difference between these two guys based on other aspects of morphology instead of just markings?

No worries. I got some T. pumila shipped in special for me. I'm picking them up when the tank is done cycling (which, at the rate it's going, should be next week! )

Thanks for the reply!
