I'm lucky enough to have them in my LFS (there's a pair there that SHALL be mine very soon), but you can probably find them through a fish club, or just order them online. You can find them on aquabid.com and probably a few betta specific websites.

so u don't get rip off make sure that on the gill flaps it is BLUE in stead of RED!!! if it is red it is splenden not imbellis.

there are a lot of crosses with splendens out there.

This is the closest thing i have seen to a wild one, the body shape is very different to the 'coloured' ones.
