Is he on his way out? | |

I just recently moved him out of his 2.5 gallon tank to make room for some neons that were being q-tined. He is now living in a 2 liter pepsi bottle. Recently he has taken to the habit of floating vertically with his head pointed up. I've noticed that he is breathing slowly. I'll move the bottle and he will perk up again. I've also noticed that his color has changed. While his tail used to be red and green, it is now a rusty purple color. |

I heard salt works for some types of fish and some diseases they get. not sure how it would affect the beta though and if it's dying cause of old age well, you will just have to let him pass on |
