I want to know if there is any other way of keeping a tank used for a Betta warm, instead of using a heater or light ?

heaters and lights are pretty much the only way to keep tanks warm, what size tank is the betta in? one way might be to keep the tank in a room that stays warm and the temp doesn't vary much, bettas don't need a heater 2 survive though, it's just better 4 them and would probabbly prolong their life

The tank isn't very big, but is big enough for a Betta to live comfortably. It has enough space for it to move around. My room is upstairs so it is probally rather warm.

You might try one of those heating pads they sell to put under small reptile tanks to provide warmth, but I do not know if they have some means of adjusting the temperature.

seedling mats? hot water bed heating mats? those little 7.5W heaters?

I take it its under a gallon and thats why you aren't telling us, and really, itts not all that easy to heat that size.

Do you have another heated tank? If so, i suggest you get a betta barracks or something similar, and pop him in there for winter
