I never really see my betta over by his nest, but it IS where i put the frozen brine shrimp cubes for him (and the newts) to eat. If this is a nest, does he want to breed? If so, my LFS has some nice female CT bettas that I wouldnt mind breeding it with. If I breed a regulat viel tail with a female crowntail, what will I get? Like a crown-viel tail betta? And does anyone have any pictures of what this might look like? The female bettas there are mostly white and have some red, and blues in them. Last edited by victimizati0n at 31-Jan-2005 14:50 |

Making bubble nests means that you are doing things right and he is healthy and doing fine. Since you know nothing about either fish's background, you might end up with anything. Think long and hard before you try to breed, it can be a lot of hard work, and what would you do with all the fry? |

I agree with pug that you should really do some research before you breed your Bettas. Although they are one of the easiest to breed, taking care of the fry is a whole other story. Good luck with what you decide to do. Last edited by Jessnick at 31-Jan-2005 20:23 |
