Hi all,

I am in a dilema a little. I have to down size my fish tank boo hoo.

I currently have a four foot tank with 3 beautiful kissing gouramis and a few other fish as well. These kissing Gouramis are about 15cm or bigger.

Now my question is will they fit in a 69 litre tank which has the dimentions (51cmX34X58) I think.

Will they be OK in this sized tank??

That's about 17.5 gallons for all us Americans.

No, that won't be big enough. Kissing gouramis get about a foot long.

They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

Yeah sorry...Your tank is not big enough. Like Janna said they get big.

I would say that 2 in a 55 is pushing it a bit.

They get to be a decent size also. I wouldn't put to much more in there. But yeah they should be fine. Just watch for aggression.

Thanks for that. Just have to see how much room I will have for my new tank before I decide on what I have to do with the current fish.

Well, Alex, the people that told you that were either wrong, or there was more background info that is being left out. Either way, you shouldn't really depend on chat for fish help. If you really have a fish question, the forums are really the place to ask them.

Well I have my new tank. It is only a 85 litre tank. But it should do as I haven't many fish to put into it.

Just waiting on the stand to come and then I can pull the 4 foot down and put the new one up.
