Gouramis will often battle each other, because most of them want to hang out near the top. Pearl gouramis are one of the more peaceful species, and opalines aren't too mean. If you end up getting multiple male gouramis though, there is a good chance that they will fight. It just depends on each gourami's personality, and whether they like the other gourami(s) or not. Mixing gouramis together tends to be touch-and-go, in that you never know if it will work out. |
