Yes, I will have to admit that I lied in a previous thread... promised I wouldn't post any more pictures until I became more skilled with camera -- but I just couldn't resist posting this one! It's "Blue" ... and although he's not in the most flattering posture, I finally captured his true colors! Isn't he gorgeous???? I could go on and on about him, but I'd better get to the topic of this thread.....

My male Betta count is now up to 12 ... have a current bid going on Aquabid with one of Sarah's listings (ColoradoCrowntails.com) ... and Paul (BiloxiBettas.com) recently emailed that his latest spawning efforts have been successful.... so he already knows I want one male from each spawn - and a female from each as well.... ("Blue" by the way was one of the stunning males Paul sent me....)

Last week I received two male Crowntails and two females from emiad on Ebay... And was quite pleased! They're young, so they still are growing --- but their colors are fantastic --- especially, "Jester's"!!! He carries hues of purple, red and blue... wish I could post a pic of him -- but unfortunately, haven't been able to get a good one yet!!!! "Joker" my other male is primarily blue - with just a little red.... and females --- GORGEOUS!!!! Really an asset to my primarily all female Betta 55 gal aquarium project!

LIFE IS GOOD FOR ME RIGHT NOW...... How's yours going?

Well, my bettas are fine. In fact, mine have spawned, and they have turned out [font color="#800080"]PURPLE[/font] and I am soooooo excited! The mother died but Mr. Daddy is going great!

PURPLE???? I love that color! Sorry to hear that Mama died though...

If I can ask, what color were the parents?

Congrats He looks interesting...is there some orange to his coloring?

I always wanted a large female betta tank. I started small and tried with a 10g, just didn't have luck with compatability. How many females are in the tank?

Unfortunately I'm at a low point with bettas right now. I have one female, Jewel, in a 10g community. My last male died over the weekend

GORGEOUS FEMALE!!! Hey, if you think she's lonely or anything, I could always take her off your hands... LOL!!!!

As far as Blue's coloring.... No, no orange at all!!! Just a lovely golden yellow and a shiny blue!!!! He's definitely one of my Favs!
