My Betta Setup | |
Stormy Big Fish Posts: 357 Kudos: 606 Votes: 81 Registered: 13-Mar-2004 | Since I was doing a water change today, I thought I would give everyone an idea of what sort of a setup I keep my bettas in. I am going to be changing it all in another month or so, but for now, this is what it is... I recently gave away 7 of my HMs, leaving me with just 12. I did this in preparation for the upcoming tank changes. Each tank is 2.5 gallons. They each are heated with their own 25 watt heater. There is a modified hood light hanging from two hooks in the ceiling above them. Each tank contains 1 male and 1 female (male in the big side, female in the little side). There are 2 CTs, 3 Plakats, and the rest are HMs. Stormy5 attached this image: Last edited by Stormy5 at 11-Feb-2005 17:53[/font] |

I do like this setup, but it takes too much time to keep everyone clean and there is no way I am putting sponge filters in all of them. I will photograph my new setup for everyone when it is done... BIG plans! |
