New Betta Questions | |
emorr Fingerling Posts: 28 Kudos: 29 Votes: 0 Registered: 09-Jan-2006 | So I AM expirenced with bettas - My old one recently died of Dropsy. I got a new one today, a blue/green/black crowntail, and I put him in my tank along with 4 WCMM. The tank is a 3 gallon, and is an Eclispe system 3. He seems to hate the flourscent light, and lingers towards the back, but comes to the front of the tank every so often. He also seems curious in the WCMM. Is this normal behavior, is he adjusting to his new surroundings, or is something wrong? I also wanted to know if there was anymore room for a snail or shrimp. I'd love a few replies |

You could put a some ghost shrimp with the betta (without the WCMM's), but depending on his personality, he might think of them as food. And welcome to FP Last edited by von dutch at 10-Jan-2006 20:00 ~elaine~ |

Two Tanks Big Fish Posts: 449 Kudos: 328 Votes: 13 Registered: 02-Jun-2003 | White Clouds are a lot like danios in the fact they are very fast swimmers (a larget tank is in order, too). They are peaceful, but a little aggravating to other fish, as are danios. Your betta might perfer something a little less exuberant to be his tank mate. The shrimp, however, would be fine. |
